VZ and Net Neutrality

"I love what Google is doing to the extent that they generate more use of broadband," Seidenberg said Thursday. But he added that additional government network regulation is a ruse and that people are trying to "box in" carriers to provide services for free. "The network builders are spending a fortune constructing and maintaining the networks that Google intends to ride on with nothing but cheap servers," Thorne said. "It is enjoying a free lunch that should, by any rational account, be the lunch of the facilities providers." They keep repeating it... so it must be true. (NOT!) We need to fight back before these jokers break the Internet down to a worthless husk and our economy stalls and we lose tons of jobs, $$, and strength to global competitors.
