Broadband Policy

Here is a thoughtful post about Why we should not have BB Regulation. "First, agencies and bureaucrats turn regulatory processes to their advantage, growing the size of their budgets and the scope of their authority without regard to actual need." TechDirt pointed to this post in its post titled: Has The Free Market Failed The US When It Comes To Broadband? America's Network mag quotes Pew's survey: "Some 62 million Americans are still using their telephone lines to dial into the Internet, according to recent figures from the Pew Internet and American Life Project. Other figures from research firms like Forrester show that only about 40% of Americans have high-speed connections at home, 30% rely on dial-up and 25% don’t have any Internet connections at all!"
