Hotspots and Muni Wireless networks need to find a way to make money. There are many companies (Adzilla, Bare Fruit, and Iris just to name a few) that offer some kind of advertising revenue from your users for your bank account. Generally you need about 25,000 subscribers to make it worth the hardware that has to be installed at the POP.
