Ideas Need Execution

I was at GROWCO a couple of weeks ago. Lots of small business execs were running around day and night, absorbing as much info as they could. My question: What have you executed on?

Ideas are everywhere. (I give you ideas every blog post). But it is the Execution of an Idea that creates movement. That makes Change Happen.

That's the really hard part.

First, you have to get out of your comfort zone and get to an event. Any event. Then, you have to listen and maybe scribe a note or two. But when you get back home and sink back into your comfort zone, you are doomed. Why? Because if you don't execute a new idea within 48 hours, you likely will not.

Also, change happens when you are uncomfortable, so as soon as you get back into the comfort zone, you are back in the womb.
